Junior Golf at Kingsdown

Kingsdown Golf Club is proud to promote Junior Golf, conveying the message that golf is fun, provides good healthy exercise and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Junior coaching sessions are held at the golf club on alternate Saturday mornings between 10 and 12 with Andrew Butler our PGA Professional. If Saturday’s are not convenient there is now a slot for coaching Juniors on alternate Sundays around midday. These sessions are taken by Richard Talbot, our Club Vice Captain and/or Kevin Stevens who is an ex PGA Professional.

For some of the younger members who may wish to get into golf there are more fun events organised throughout the school holidays. These are open to Parents and children or even Grandparents and Grandchildren and consist of Soft Golf Competitions with prizes

The Junior Section has numerous golf competitions throughout the year for those with a handicap.

With our 3 hole Academy Course now open alongside our covered driving range, we offer enhanced coaching and also provide a player pathway to progress our juniors from beginner right through to handicap and beyond.

The Club welcomes all youngsters aged from 5 to 17. Please ring the office or pro shop for more details of membership and coaching sessions.

NOTE: There is no membership charge for a Junior provided a parent or grandparent is a full, Playing Member of the Golf Club. Only Affiliation Fees of £16 (passed on to England Golf and Wiltshire Golf) are payable.
