The annual England v Scotland match took place on Thursday 27th December. It was held on a crisp sunny winter’s day, unlike last year when the match was postponed due to snow.
The day had a great start with a splendid Haggis breakfast and a tot of whiskey. The day was rounded off with an excellent roast beef dinner and the usual one or two drinks.
The result was a halved match, the first for 20 years.
The winner’s shield was presented jointly to the captains, Phil Hodges (England) and Will Henderson (Scotland). See below.
