Buthlay Cup: Kingsdown Win

Another good season for Kingsdown in this Wiltshire County competition culminated in the Final last Saturday at Marlborough, venue of our previous victory in 2014. Playing in wet and wintry conditions the team of eight duly delivered a well-deserved 3-1 win to cap off a great year notable for team spirit, friendly but keen competition and good golf.

Well played Paul Marshall for holing the winning putt, an act which etches his name alongside Reg Wagstaff's in club folklore (see Paul in Kingsdown bar for full details). But more to the point, well played everyone who pulled on the shirt this year.
