Captains' Drive-In Bowmaker won by the Captains' Team!

New Captain Andy Marquiss, his sister - Ladies' Captain - Leigh Page, Seniors' Captain, Neil Tribick and Junior Captain, George Epsley took to the first tee on a very chilly but bright Saturday morning, leading a packed field for the shotgun start at 12.30.

Paul Marshall, armed with clip board, ran round taking bets on the length of Andy's drive.  Later, during Prize Giving it was revealed that Andy had driven 199 yards.  Both Nigel Lewin and Tricia Crapnell nominated 200 yards, so each won a bottle of wine and club tie.  The guessing raised £66 for Andy's charity, Cancer Research.

By all accounts, a great day with the Captains' Team coming in first with a cracking 89 points.  In second place was Simon Rudman's team with 87 points.
