Located just 12 miles from the Junction 17 and 11 miles from Junction 18 of the M4 and only 5 miles from the centre of Bath, Kingsdown Golf Club is easy to get to.
The downland course is renowned for its beautiful scenery, luscious fairways and, of course, its superb greens.
The excellent drainage makes play possible all year round.
From the Men’s White Tees, the course, a Par 72, measures 6,501 yards in length. For the Ladies, the Red Tees boast 5,744 yards and a Par 73.
Whilst seemingly open and forgiving, the course will punish errant play; play intelligent and thoughtful golf and you will be rewarded.
We run a number of golfing teams at Kingsdown, both competitive and social; we have teams in the Bristol & District Golf League and Wiltshire League as well as Ladies and Seniors Section teams and our Wagglers team play social matches across the County and beyond.
Our Greenkeepers boast over 100 years of greenkeeping experience at Kingsdown alone, ensuring that golf course is always delivered at it’s best.
The clubhouse at Kingsdown Golf Club has a large bar area with panoramic views of the course and a well stocked bar.
Our kitchen will supply you with traditional golf club fayre with all food prepared on the premises sourced from local suppliers. The kitchen is open from 10.00am - 5.00pm each day with extended hours in summer.
Andrew Butler, our Head Professional, has been at Kingsdown for over 16 years. His knowledge, experience and that of his team will ensure that all your golfing needs are attended to.
