Visitor Information

Visitors, from Wiltshire and beyond, are welcome to Kingsdown Golf Club throughout the week and can look forward to an excellent round of golf, followed by a warm, friendly atmosphere and some good food in the Clubhouse.

How to find us

Located just 12 miles from the Junction 17 and 11 miles from Junction 18 of the M4 and only 5 miles from the centre of Bath, Kingsdown Golf Club is easy to get to.

Directions to the club

From Bath

Take the A4 to Chippenham. At the Bathford Roundabout, take the third exit (signposted Bathford), pass under the railway bridge the take the first left onto Bathford Hill. Continue on through Bathford High Street and Kingsdown Golf Club is at the top of the hill, the Clubhouse on the right hand side of the road soon after you pass The Swan public house.

From the M4 Junction 17

Take the A350 to Chippenham & Poole. At the Chequers Roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A4 (signposted Bath). Stay on the A4 through Corsham and after the two mini roundabouts (that you will drive straight over), take a left towards Bradford on Avon (B3109). Stay on the B3109 until you reach traffic signals known as “Fiveways” then take the third exit towards Kingsdown.

Follow this road for about a mile and the Golf Course will appear on either side of the road. The Clubhouse and parking will be on your left.

From the M4 Junction 18

Take the A46 towards Bath. Continue onto the A4 (signposted Bathford). At the Bathford Roundabout, take the third exit (signposted Bathford), pass under the railway bridge the take the first left onto Bathford Hill.

Continue on through Bathford High Street and Kingsdown Golf Club is at the top of the hill, the Clubhouse on the right hand side of the road soon after you pass The Swan public house.
