Kingsdown is a mixed members club. It is run by an elected committee for the members.
There are currently over 700 members in various categories including: -
- Full Membership for Men and Ladies
- Junior Memberships for those aged 12 to 17 years
- Colts Membership for those aged 18 to 24 years

- * Bar Levy functions as a Smartcard credit at the bar. Beverage purchases with the Smartcard are given a 22% discount. Any levy outstanding at the end of the year is taken into club funds. NB: this does not apply to subsequent Smartcard top-ups. Smartcards are available on request for both Colts and Juniors
- ** Full Members between 30 and 39 are eligible to pay the Joining Fee in three £200 instalments over three years
- *** Loyalty discounts are given to members aged 65 and upwards once membership has been for concurrent for at 5 years.
- **** Country Membership is applicable to a person living outside a 55 mile radius from the club.
- ***** Social Membership Annual Rates are subject to VAT at the current rate
In addition to the above, a subscription to the English Golf Union (EGU) is due for all Male golfing members (including Colts and Juniors). The cost for 2008 is £9.45.
For Female members, a subscription is due to The English Ladies Golf Association (ELGA) at a cost of £10.35 (a £2.50 is discount afforded to Colts and Juniors) with an additional £5.00 payable for subscription to the Wiltshire Ladies County Golf Association (WLCGA).
Discounts are given if Membership is taken out part-way through the year; joining in April earns a 10% discount, May, a 20% discount, June, 30% and so on. Membership subscriptions can be paid in instalments. Please Contact the Golf Club office should you wish to discuss this or any other matter.
