Kingsdown Golf Club is proud to promote Junior Golf and is recognised as a high achieving English Golf Union GOLFMARK club. The Club visits local schools taking the message that golf is fun and can be enjoyed by everyone.
Junior coaching sessions are held at the golf club on Sunday afternoons, for both younger juniors and for older/more experienced junior golfers. The sessions are run by Sam Attwood and Michael Reeves, both PGA pros, who are CRB registered.
In addition to this, we also offer full days of coaching during the school holidays run by resident PGA teaching professional, Andrew Butler.
The Junior Section has numerous golf competitions throughout the year for those with a handicap.
With our 3 hole Academy Course now open alongside our covered driving range, we will be offering enhanced coaching and also aiming to provide a player pathway to progress our juniors from beginner right through to handicap and beyond.
The Club welcomes all youngsters aged from 5 to 17. Please ring the office or pro shop for more details of membership and coaching sessions.
NEW FOR 2015: There is no membership charge for a Junior provided a parent or grandparent is a full, Playing Member of the Golf Club. Only affiliation fees (passed on to England Golf, The Ladies Golf Union and Wiltshire County Golf Union) are payable.
